These classes work on both aerobic and anaerobic levels to increase your cardiovascular fitness and stamina. The classes start with a warm-up and stretching, then on to some light floor work.
The next step is to increase the heart rate with some punching and kicking combinations without contact; then on to the anaerobic part where the student actually hits the heavy bags and the focus mitts with different kickboxing combinations.
The last part of the class is reserved for the abdominal workout, and finished up with stretching. The Aerobic Kickboxing classes are taught in such a way as to give the student a great workout while teaching practical fighting skills in the event they are ever needed.
